Product Marketing Manager

Circle is building the all-in-one community platform for creators and brands: think "Shopify for creator/brand-led communities". We make it really easy to bring your people, discussions, live streams, events and payments together — all in one place, all under your own brand.

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help support our Product and GTM teams at Circle. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, in this role you’ll be leading cross functional programs, coordinating and synthesizing research, and telling compelling customer stories to drive the growth and adoption of our product.

The ideal candidate is passionate about customers, is energized working in a product-led environment, is curious by default, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. You are a key member of the marketing team and are driven by the team’s greater success. Must be able to work effectively in a high autonomy and high ownership environment. You are a natural critical thinker, are organized, and thrive in an action-biased, collaborative, results-driven environment.

This is a 100% remote role. We're now a fully remote team of 83 (and growing!) based in the U.S., Colombia, Portugal, India, Argentina, Slovenia, and other countries. We have a preference for candidates in U.S. and European time zones.

  • Coordinate and craft market research, competitive intelligence and user insights to identify opportunities, craft compelling stories, nail our packaging, and effectively articulate our differentiated position in the market
  • Develop and maintain core personas, iterate as needed, and develop and maintain our solution storyline for each
  • Leverage our customer community to create compelling customer stories and assets that we can leverage across our go-to-market function
  • Project manage and coordinate cross functional initiatives - you’re partnering with our go-to-market teams to build best-in-class programs that drive engagement and activation of strategic features
  • Coordinate with our sales team to craft customer, market, and competitive insights from research and analytics to identify new market opportunities
  • Support the development of personalized onboarding and activation programs aligned with the customer journey to help connect users with product value that best addresses their needs and pain points

Who we're looking for

  • Have experience in SaaS - you’ve spent 4+ years of related experience in Product Marketing (ideally in a B2B or SaaS focused role or company)
  • Your default is to solve problems - you are excited to jump in where needed to ‘fill in the gaps’ where needed. We are an early-stage start-up and are looking for team members who are energized to work in an action-biased environment
  • Work well with others - love to work in a collaborative environment where you wield your influence to drive alignment and successfully execute cross functional projects
  • Thrive when you can showcase your critical thinking skills - you can synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into insights to drive strategy, decisions, and actions. You have a strong growth mindset, are constantly curious, and enjoy working in environments where you can learn and grow.
  • Ambiguity doesn’t throw you off - things change as we learn along the way! You can navigate through and have experience breaking down broad problems in a structured way.
  • You love getting to know customers - you are passionate about building deep empathy for our customers and enjoy serving as the voice of the customer
